By taking care of your lawn and landscape in the winter, you can ensure a big spring green-up! With just a few simple steps, you can get your lawn and landscape off to a good start.
Whether you have a sprinkler system, a pond or a water feature, take the necessary steps to prep and winterize before the temperatures drop too low. Winterization helps prevent freeze damage caused by cold temperatures and will ensure your water features remain undamaged throughout the winter months. Request sprinkler winterization before December 3 and get on our schedule!
2. Add Mulch to Garden Beds
Apply a fresh layer of mulch atop your garden beds before snow and ice arrive. This will ensure that your soil stays insulated, will protect your plants’ roots, and will set your garden up for success in the spring.
3. Fertilize Your Lawn
If you have a cool-season lawn, we recommend adding fertilizer to your turf for winter hardiness and an early spring green-up. Don’t want to worry about it? Pre-pay and save 10% when you sign up for our Lawn and Tree Program before December 13. Learn more here.
