There’s nothing better than finding the shade on a warm summer day! Arbors and pergolas do just that and add an eye-pleasing structure to your landscape.
While arbors and pergolas are similar, they do have their differences.
Arbors
An arbor is a freestanding structure that oftentimes serves as an entryway to part of a yard or garden. It can also act as a small shelter for a seating area with vines or other plants climbing overhead.
Pergolas
Pergolas are most often connected to a house and consist of four or more columns supporting beams that form a roof. In short, they’re typically much bigger than arbors.
Both arbors and pergolas are open structures that allow the breeze to flow through while still providing a moderate amount of shade. Plus, they both add extra charm and character to your space.
At TenderCare, we construct arbors and pergolas using various types of material and can match the appearance of your current architecture or build upon a new theme – creating a piece you’ll love for years to come.
