Bermudagrass, Bahiagrass, Carpetgrass, St. Augustinegrass — if you have a warm-season grass, aerate before it’s too late!
The best time to aerate warm season lawns is spring to early summer. Aerating your lawn will improve growth and help maintain your lawn’s health. It also helps break up the compacted soil and allows air, water and nutrients to penetrate into the grass’s root system more effectively.
By aerating at the right time each year, your lawn will be healthier, easier to maintain and have better heat tolerance. Plus, aerated lawns tend to have fewer pest problems.
